You are spot on, in terms of delivering product, innovation, and talent, Google and Apple are really seperating themselves from the pack. And they are the perfect compliments for each other to take down MSFT. Apple still, at the end of the day, is a hardware firm and Google is proving to deliver software better than anybody.
I just hope CA realizes how important it is that they work with these technology companies to not only make sure that they stay in the state; but they should also be working on creative ways to get tools in the hands of the next generation, so that CA can continue to thrive.
