You don't need to ditch the whole city... perhaps just move to a new neighborhood. Or get a place with cheaper rent and shell out for a covered parking spot. Or ditch the car if you are so environmentally concerned and bike, natch. (*(Mental costs) Worrying about the environmental damage of having a car)
